  • Hi, I’m Nancy Pratt. Welcome to my blog! This is a space for anyone who believes in the power of learning and the endless possibilities it offers. For me, education isn’t just about getting to the next step in life—it’s a lifelong adventure. It shapes us, connects us, and helps us imagine a better future. Whether you’re taking your first steps in learning, deep into a career, or diving back in as a lifelong learner, education has the power to inspire and transform at every stage of life.


  • This blog is here to spark conversations about learning—real, meaningful learning that goes beyond the classroom. Because I work in higher education, my perspective is naturally shaped by that world. My posts often dive into topics like adult learning, continuing education, lifelong learning, and the evolving milieu of higher education. That said, I aim to share ideas and stories that resonate at the many intersections of education—whether you’re a student, a professional, an educator, or just a curious soul. And, okay, I’ll admit it: sometimes I can get a little preachy. I promise it comes from a place of passion and belief in the transformative power of education. I hope you’ll forgive me when I do—and maybe even stick around for the conversations that follow.
